During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sullivan shared that “representatives from Israel, the United States, Egypt, and Qatar met in Paris and came to an understanding among the four of them about what the basic contours of a hostage deal for a temporary ceasefire would look like.” He refrained from disclosing specifics, acknowledging that the negotiations are still ongoing and require careful consideration to address all parties’ concerns.
In order for any potential deal to be implemented, Hamas must ultimately agree to release the hostages.
