SAG Awards 2024: See who won

SAG Awards 2024: See who won - World - News

The 30th anniversary of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards is taking place this Saturday at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. This prestigious event honors actors for their outstanding performances in films and television projects, with nominations and votes coming from their peers within the industry.

Despite not having a host this year, there will still be an impressive lineup of presenters gracing the stage, including Idris Elba, Billie Eilish, Jessica Chastain, America Ferrera, Robert Downey Jr., and SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher, among others. Jennifer Aniston will present the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award to Barbra Streisand, and Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt will reunite to present an award together for their memorable roles in “The Devil Wears Prada.”

With the first SAG Awards since Hollywood’s prolonged actors’ strike, which occurred concurrently with the WGA writers’ strike last year, and before next month’s Oscars ceremony, anticipation for this event is high. The SAG Awards will be streamed live globally on Netflix – a first for both the show and the streaming platform – at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT.
