Ben Murphy, Duchy estate director, stated that the Prince of Wales had instructed them to address the challenge of homelessness within Cornwall and other regions where his estate resides. The development is expected to begin in September, with the first homes completed by next fall.
The housing initiative draws inspiration from William’s “Homewards” program, a five-year plan launched in June with the Royal Foundation to demonstrate that ending homelessness is possible.
