Title: Jackson Mahomes Receives Six-Month Unsupervised Probation after Pleading No Contest to Sexual Battery Charge

In a court hearing on Thursday, May 25, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, received six months of unsupervised probation following his plea of no contest to a sexual battery charge. According to court records obtained by various media outlets, Mahomes was charged with one count of simple battery in the incident that took place last year.

The lawyer representing Jackson Mahomes, Brandan Davies, issued a statement to several media outlets, including this publication, stating that “Jackson is thankful for the support of his family and friends during the last year.” Davies continued to explain that Mahomes’ primary objective was to bring an end to this matter and move forward in life. He added, “The case is now closed, and we will not be issuing any further statements.”

Mahomes was originally arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of battery by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office in May 2023. However, prosecutors decided to drop three out of the four charges against him in January, as per court records.

The elder Mahomes brother, Patrick, is an accomplished NFL quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, holding two Super Bowl victories and being the only player in league history to win the MVP award twice within a six-year span.

Unrelated to this case, Patrick Mahomes’ father, Patrick Mahomes Sr., was arrested in Texas on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in February. Despite the legal matters involving both members of his family, Patrick Mahomes has continued to focus on his professional career with the Kansas City Chiefs.
