Elizabeth Hurley’s Unconventional Collaboration with Son in Erotic Thriller: A Liberating Experience

The concept of filming explicit sex scenes for a movie alongside one’s children may be an unsettling notion for many parents. However, British actress Elizabeth Hurley holds a different perspective on the matter. In fact, her upcoming erotic thriller, “Strictly Confidential,” which was both written and directed by her son Damian Hurley, has brought about an enlightening experience for the actress.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Elizabeth discussed her upcoming role in this provocative film. She expressed feelings of safety and comfort during both the filming and post-production phases of the project, which includes an intimate scene with actress Pear Chiravara.

“Working on this movie was a unique experience, knowing that my son was behind the camera gave me a sense of security and assurance,” Elizabeth shared during the interview. “Damian’s presence on set allowed me to feel at ease, especially since his script required me to do things that aren’t commonly shown in films.”

The model and actress continued by expressing her appreciation for the liberating nature of working with family. “It was an empowering experience collaborating with my son, I might consider doing it again in the future,” Elizabeth stated about her role in the erotic crime thriller that’s set for release in April.

Joining Elizabeth on-screen are Genevieve Gaunt and Georgia Lock, as they delve into the story of a young woman’s quest to uncover the truth behind her friend’s suicide.

Damian Hurley also shared his thoughts on the experience, acknowledging the time constraints and efficiency required during filming an independent project. “We were in our element, it was quite surreal. With only 18 days to shoot, every second counted. There wasn’t much room for contemplation or second-guessing.”

“Strictly Confidential” marks an unconventional yet fulfilling collaboration between mother and son, as they explore the boundaries of cinema together.
