Magician David Copperfield Denies Allegations of Sexual Assault and Misconduct
In response to a report published by The Guardian on Wednesday, magician David Copperfield has denied allegations of sexual assault and misconduct made against him by 16 women. The report detailed accounts from the women, some of whom were underage at the time of their alleged incidents.

On Thursday, The Guardian published a second report detailing allegations from five more women. All of these women claimed they had met Copperfield while competing in a modeling contest. One former contestant alleged that Copperfield drugged and sexually assaulted her “in the months after the competition,” at which time she was 17 years old.
