The defending champion and No. 1 seed UConn Huskies are now one victory away from winning back-to-back titles after defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide 86-72 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Saturday. They’ll the face the Purdue Boilermakers in the championship game Monday evening. No. 1 seed Purdue defeated NC State 63-50 earlier Saturday night, bouncing back from last year’s disappointment having lost in the first round. This is first time the Boilermakers have reached the title game in 55 years.
